I decided to start blogging so that I can keep track of different things going on in my life. I also figured that updating a blog would give me writing practice.

I moved to Kansas City in 2006 to take a job with a company that I had interned for while going to school.  I stay active with volunteer efforts in my profession and in the community. I am a practicing Catholic and am also active in my church.  In my spare time outside of volunteering and working, I enjoy running and learning about healthy eating and fitness. When I’m not focused on eating healthy, my two favorite foods are tacos and Sushi.  My friends and family are very important to me and I try to spend as much time with them as possible.  When I am not working, I like to travel, read, try new restaurants, check out the craft cocktail scene, and go to concerts. I listen to all genres of music and especially enjoy the local KC music scene.  I love champagne, pencil skirts, high heels, and cardigan sweaters.

Most people that know me really well know that I talk loud and talk a lot.   One of my favorite things is going to parties and planning parties for my friends.  I like to cook and have people over to my house for meals.  Birthdays are really important to me, so I like to make sure that my friends and families have good memories of their birthdays.
